Fascial Release

Manual Therapy & Fascia Manipulation
Fascia release, or myofascial release, is a form of manual therapy aimed at reducing pain and restoring mobility by releasing tension and restrictions in the body's fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, joints, and organs.
This treatment is often used for chronic pain, sports injuries, and reduced range of motion.
What is fascia?
Fascia is a thin yet strong network of connective tissue that wraps around and supports muscles, bones, nerves, and organs. It functions like the body’s internal “infrastructure.”
There are three main types of fascia:
-
Superficial fascia – located just under the skin, elastic and thin.
-
Deep fascia – surrounds muscles and bones, providing structural support.
-
Visceral fascia – encases the internal organs and keeps them in place.
When healthy, fascia is soft, flexible, and allows smooth movement. However, due to injury, stress, overuse, or inactivity, it can become tight, shortened, or sticky — leading to pain, restricted movement, and poor circulation.

Our integrated approach
Fascia does not exist in isolation, and neither should your treatment. At Webster, we integrate multiple methods to support full-spectrum healing and performance. Each treatment is adapted to your specific goals — whether you're recovering from injury, preparing for a race, or simply looking to feel better in your body.
Manual Therapy & Fascial Release
Hands-on treatment to identify and release restrictions in fascia and soft tissues. Helps restore range of motion, reduce chronic pain, and improve muscular coordination.
Functional Movement, Rehab & Prehab Workouts
We incorporate corrective exercise and rehab-focused strength work to re-pattern how your body moves post-treatment, as well as prehab-centred workouts to work proactivley against common ailments. This creates lasting change — not just temporary relief.
Dry Needling
Used to release deep muscle tension, stimulate blood flow, and reset neuromuscular connections. Especially effective for trigger points, chronic tension, and athletic recovery.
Recovery Technology
We use industry-leading tools from our partners Flowlife to support and accelerate recovery:
-
Flowpression boots: Pneumatic compression therapy that promotes circulation and lymphatic drainage — ideal after intense training or long workdays.
-
Infrared therapy (IR panels): Penetrates deep into tissue layers, supporting circulation, muscle recovery, and detoxification.
-
Ice baths: Controlled cold exposure reduces inflammation, improves metabolic resilience, and activates the parasympathetic nervous system — promoting mental and physical recovery.
